We ensure all pets receive medication for a comfortable recovery. Cats receive a long last injectable pain medication. Dogs will go home with pain medication to be given orally.  Dogs will also be sent home with protective plastic cones, while cats will receive cones as needed. Additionally, we offer recovery suits and soft cones for purchase to cater to your pet’s needs if you do not want to use the plastic cone.  All dogs need to wear a cone or suit for 12-14 post surgery to avoid complications.
